Ridgeline Western Construction handles the structural and finish carpentry on bar projects—opening up walls or ceilings to expose the real bones, reframing support under bar tops, service counters, and equipment platforms, and tying new framing into whatever the existing shell offers, whether it’s dimensional lumber, steel stud, or masonry. Partition walls are modified or removed for revised layouts, rough openings are built for equipment or access, blocking is added for millwork and anchored seating, and high-wear areas behind the bar or in storage rooms get reinforced for load and ongoing use.

We manage all licensed trades under our contract—plumbing, electrical, HVAC brought in and scheduled to coordinate with our framing, so that everything from sink rough-ins and ice machine drains to ventilation drops and extra outlets fits the program. Any work to the roof is routed through our licensed roofing partner. Permits are pulled, inspections tracked and closed, and health department and fire authority approvals run in parallel with city review. Landlord submittals, including layout drawings and proposed finishes, are handled before construction starts to keep the project compliant.

Bar buildouts mean working within tight code and logistical windows—designs have to meet city and ABC layout mandates, with health department requirements shaping how sinks, bar prep, and clean zones are framed. Framing at ADA-critical locations, fire-rated corridors, and zones for heavy refrigeration or wet equipment calls for specific backing, moisture-resistant assemblies, and connections to slab or block where required. Our approach accounts for all of these constraints, working the structure to fit both code and concept.
